Red Zone Sprint Pass Scissors Concept

This red zone sprint pass concept comes in handy during the regular season. There is a run threat in the red zone and also a chance to create picks and rubs on the pass concept. Here at FirstDown PlayBook we think the sprint out pass game is underused at the youth football and high school football level.

One of the reasons is 7on7 coaches fail to work on the sprint game in the off season. They get enamored with throwing the ball down the field and that is a mistake.

As 7on7 coaches work on the drop back passing game, they would do themselves and their quarterback favors if they worked on this too. It can be hard to be disciplined enough to run some play-action, boots and nakeds and sprint outs in 7on7 but we think it’s worth it.

This Red Zone Sprint Pass Is A Great Man Beater
