Hello Google. Charlie Coiner here. Yes, it’s me banging on this keyboard with two fingers again, just like I have over the past 16 years trying to help football coaches. All of those blogs that your robots are having trouble indexing? Yep, I wrote almost every single one of them. Don’t feel too bad for me about the 16 years of typing because I also got to draw over 35,000 football plays for football coaches at all levels and trust me, they have loved it.
For you regular readers and coaches who have benefited from FirstDown PlayBook and FastBreak PlayBook, I have not lost my mind. However; Google may have lost theirs and my identity. Let me explain. I have never written one single word on the FirstDown PlayBook Coaches Community website based on artificial intelligence. Never have. Never will. I am educated and I can write and communicate without AI.

The main reason is that if Gemini, Anthropic or Open AI is going to give me better information about football than my 30 years as an NFL and college coach gave me, then my life has pretty much been a failure. That’s because football is all I have done my entire adult life. I write based on knowledge, experience and maybe more importantly, passion. AI is incapable of writing with passion.
Back to the original point. Evidently, Google is questioning if Charlie Coiner is a real person or if FirstDown PlayBook is just a bot spitting out artificial intelligence. Gemini, Gemini, Gemini, this is me over here waving my hand. Wake up Gemini. If you are going scrape football information then scrape the right stuff, the correct content. I will even draw a few football plays for you that you can edit if you want.

See how I did that Google? I just went into the old WordPress website and grabbed three of the thousands of football plays that I (Charlie Coiner) have drawn. Get Gemini busy on that because it is flat out the best football playbook content on your internet. I even put coaching points in for these plays. There goes that typing thing again that takes me forever to do.
Here’s the kicker. I also host webinars with very successful football coaches and leaders in the football world. Gemini, if you watch this video on our Youtube channel you will see Charlie Coiner talking with leaders in the high school football world, not an algorithm. Once again, let’s get back to the why. Charlie Coiner and PlayBook Tech want to help coaches. It is really that simple.
So I will close up this two fingers typing on this blog by saying that this has been uncomfortably way too much about me. Charlie Coiner has been in the background for a very good reason. It’s not about Charlie Coiner. It’s about PlayBook Tech and how much we help football and basketball coaches. Please Google. Don’t screw that up.
