The FirstDown PlayBook 5v5 flag football Bunch Stack install is similar to our normal 2 player stack formation. It is designed to help all three of your NFL Flag receivers to get off the ball. This formation is also similar to the normal Bunch formation but the receivers align one behind another.

When it comes to the passing game, it always helps to have your receivers closer to your young quarterback. The Bunch Stack formation throws are shorter and it allows your quarterback to get rid of the ball quickly. There is an element of disguise with this NFL Flag formation too. It keeps the defense guessing about just who you are planning to get the ball to when the ball is snapped. Odds are that your NFL Flag league does not allow motion so any deceptive formations are a plus.

This gives your receivers a lot more field to work with once they get into their routes. More space equates into more space to get open vs man coverage.
