Double Move Concept Install

By FirstDown PlayBook on Nov 13, 2021

Young coaches get excited about beating a defense on a vertical route. After a few years that same coach understands that completing a comeback or curl off of that is every bit as important. Experienced coaches know that a double move concept off the comeback or similar route is when you really have the defense on their heels.

As we move from regular season play to the off season FirstDown PlayBook will begin a weekly voyage into the world of the passing game. We are going to start with double move concepts. This may seem like a strange place to start but here’s why.

We understand that some of you are done for the fall. However, there are FirstDown PlayBook coaches who are in the playoffs too. We want to offer a little passing game help that works for them as they enter their playoff run. You can always get double move thoughts on the FirstDown PlayBook Coaches Community website. The real help though is on FirstDown PlayBook.

The one thing no one has to worry about is the volume of passing game help in FirstDown PlayBook. Regardless of of if you are looking for ideas based on formation, concept or the coverage you need to beat, it is all right there for you. We will tag any new installs by the month and year. So if you want to see the new double move installs you will type in NOV 2021 DOUBLE MOVES.

Of course you can also go with to the Double Move concepts area in FirstDown PlayBook. Here you will see these plays and any of the other many football plays that we have previously installed.
