Stop being lazy. Flag football coach, I’m looking right at you. Admittingly, you may be the coach and the player, but the point remains the same. When is the last time you sat down and created a flag football play to exploit the defense? A play to actually help your flag football quarterback.

I can see the confusion on your face right now. What are you talking about? I draw up four verticals or maybe a curl or two and we go to work. I am not there to see your games but I am guessing that this plan is not working out very well unless you have dominant players.

As flag football has grown, it turns out that it is not that different from tackle football. No plan means no chance. In most situations, you are not going to merely walk out on any flag football field and beat an opponent with players. If you do, that means you need to move up in class or level.
