7on7 Plays

As we wrap up the 2022 calendar year it is inevitable that the 7on7 football coaches will begin to find their way to FirstDown PlayBook. This is a pretty cyclic profession that we have chosen. Every year the players need a few weeks to heal up and then it’s either on to other sports or on to preparing for the next season. It’s not a bad thing because you are either getting better or worse. This is a good time to get better at throwing the football.

The enormous popularity of 7on7 as well as flag football is understandable. After all throwing the football is fun. The fact that it is helping you and your players for the regular season is often an afterthought . So this is the time of year that we see a lot of 7on7 football coaches at our doorstep.

FirstDown PlayBook has our roots in the passing game. After all, we initially started as a passing game app before the coaching community convinced us to take on all phases of football. The appeal of the passing game has not been forgotten. Just look at Twitter these days. The young coaches love drawing pass plays. You may be playing them this season.
