USA Flag Is IFlag. Both Are In FirstDown PlayBook!
Anyone trying to keep up with the world of flag football in the year 2026 knows that it moves fast. There are new teams, new schools and as we will look at today, a new league. Or maybe not. Let me explain. Our partners over at USA Flag have rebranded as International Flag League or IFlag.
If you stop and think about it, this makes a lot of sense. Anyone paying a little attention can see that the flag football explosion is not and will not be confined to the United States.
Exhibit A is the fact that the 2028 Olympics will feature the best flag football teams from across the the globe in Los Angeles. You can bet that regardless of the roster make up on the teams, this is going to be competitive. International teams have already shown that they are to be dealt with in both the men’s and women’s game.
USA Flag Is Now IFlag. FirstDown PlayBook Has You Covered Either Way!
So what does this have to do with FirstDown PlayBook? A lot actually. This past year we partnered with USA Flag (now IFlag) to draw everyone of their plays. These flag football plays were of the 5v5 flag, 6v6 flag, and 7v7 flag football variety.
The plays were originally drawn by some of the most experienced flag football players and coaches in the world. The founder of USA Flag (now IFlag) approached us about re-drawing all of these 500 some plays in an editable format.

Here at FirstDown PlayBook we eagerly accepted this challenge. It was a lot of drawing but at the end of the project, IFlag players and coaches now had the ability to find virtually any and every flag football play imaginable. Every play was drawn to scale on an IFAF flag football field too.
That’s not all. They could also edit the plays in FirstDown PlayBook and organize them into personalized flag football playbooks to suit their IFlag teams. The ability to easily create wristband sheets has also been a huge selling point to flag football offenses looking to play fast and stay on the same page.
