Former Texas DC Bull Reese
FirstDown PlayBook is excited to announce that this fall we are partnering up with USA Football’s Keith Grabowski and his Coach And Coordinator podcast to bring you some of the best minds in football each and every week of the 2018 football season! First up is long time defensive coordinator Bull Reese.
Each week, FirstDown PlayBook founder Charlie Coiner will join Keith to discuss a relevant football topic for that portion of the season, and they will also feature a guest coach who will bring their insight and expertise to the topic!
FirstDown PlayBook will not only post the podcast right here for your listening pleasure but we will also post anything that we talk about right here each week. It might be football plays, it might be charts, but whatever it is will be designed to help you as you coach your football team during the 2018 football season!
Carl “Bull” Reese, Longtime Collegiate Defensive Coordinator
Noted as being one of the most innovative minds on the defensive side of the football, Carl “Bull” Reese coordinated the defense at Texas, LSU, Vanderbilt, Navy and Missouri to just name a few. Today on the Coach and Coordinator week one Gameplan, Coach Reese shares his thoughts on making gameday adjustments and why he thinks that if you wait until the day after the game to look at your goal chart you are too late!
Next Up: John Shoop: Former NFL Offensive Coordinator
FirstDown PlayBook has also loaded up the game day charts that Coach Reese discusses in the podcast, as well as making them available to you on the FirstDown PlayBook website. This way you can follow along as you listen! Enjoy the podcast!
On January 6, 2019 FirstDown PlayBook is going to hand the chalk back to you, the coach. You will finally have the capability of editing our database of plays, which should be pushing 40,000 by then, as well as create your own plays. Want it first and for less? Bang on the football to your left to learn how.
